No / low EtCO₂

Tube confirmation and low-flow states.

  • No waveform = wrong tube until proven otherwise, unless profound low-flow state.
  • Check circuit/capnography connection.
  • Reconfirm visually or remove/reintubate if uncertain.
  • Low EtCO₂ after confirmation may reflect shock/low perfusion.
