Quick staging reference.

Suggested adult setup

  • Common cuffed ETT range: 7.0–8.0 mm ID, adjusted for patient and operator plan.
  • Stage one smaller/larger if difficult delivery expected.
  • Stage stylet, bougie, SGA, suction, syringe, and cric pathway.
  • Typical oral depth estimate: 20–24 cm at teeth/lips; verify by waveform ETCO₂, exam, and imaging when appropriate.
